Cultural Briefing
The intent of this service is to meet the needs of both the receiving organisation and the new assignees to facilitate the expansion of knowledge about their host culture to help them integrate into their new community more quickly and confidently.
The workshops are based on recognised academic research and use a variety of learning styles that include information, discussion, case studies and experience. Each participant is provided with a workbook that is designed to suit the program delivered.
Standard Service
Program Outcomes include:
- An appreciation of some of the aspects of the new host location.
- Recognition tools and training on cultural similarities and differences.
- Delivery of a basic framework to assist in interpretation of differences in social and business relationships.
- Expectation management tools for the challenges that all family members, including children will face throughout the moving and adjustment phases.
- Assistance in helping participants develop useful problem solving techniques
- Motivational and confidence building tools to achieve both personal and business goals.
